History

D&R Albers Construction stands for David and Ryan. David, being my father started this construction company close to 40 years ago. Being a farmer and an accomplished teacher, he decided to start a new career in construction. My grandfather, Bill Dawson was a very successful structural engineer and proud owner of a huge construction company, Descon International with over a thousand employees. He became my father's mentor and guided the small company to success. As a young child, I was trained in construction with the goal of eventually taking over the family business. Unfortunately, my father became ill and I took over the reins at 17 years old. He was able to guide me until passing a short 4 years later. Construction had now become my passion and I was well surrounded still having my grandfather along with two uncles running construction companies and another who is a renowned architect in Tremblant, Douglas Dawson. Now 23 years later I find myself still loving construction with a company continually growing and an large opportunity to help others. I am blessed having two boys of my own and hopefully they will continue our family passion of people and construction.
